Community Lunch

Food, friends, & connection.

At FARE Scotland, we believe that food brings people together. Our weekly Community Lunch is more than just a meal – it’s a chance for local residents to connect, relax, and enjoy a welcoming space in the heart of the community.

Held every Friday, the lunch is open to everyone and offers a delicious, nutritious two-course meal prepared and served by our amazing community team and volunteers.

Minimum contribution: £1 – pay what you can, more if you’re able and want to!

A glass of layered yogurt with strawberries, granola, and honey, a cup of black coffee on a yellow saucer, a glass of orange juice with a black straw, and a cup of tea on a wooden table.
  • Prepared and served by our amazing community team and volunteers, each lunch includes:

    • A freshly prepared two-course meal

    • Tea, coffee, and friendly conversation

    • A relaxed, inclusive atmosphere

    • Opportunities to take home food parcels

    • Support from staff and volunteers who care

    • We also prepare extra food on purpose, so participants can take a portion home. Just bring your own tub – it’s a wee bonus we’re proud to offer.

Whether you're coming along for the food, the company, or just a change of scenery – you’ll be met with a smile and a seat at the table.
