The FARE Christmas Appeal helps children, young people, families and individuals across our communities who are experiencing financial hardship during the festive season.

For many households, Christmas can be one of the most difficult times of the year. Rising living costs, food poverty and financial pressures mean some families struggle to afford gifts, festive food and other essentials.

Through the FARE Christmas Appeal, we provide:

  • Christmas gifts for children and young people who would otherwise wake up without a gift on Christmas morning

  • Food hampers for families and individuals experiencing hardship

  • Christmas experiences for families who would go without

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, FARE distributed 3,562 gifts to children and young people and 150 food hampers across our communities.

This year, we are once again working to ensure that every child has a present to open on Christmas morning and that local families receive the support they need during the festive season.
