FARE Futures Programme

FARE Futures Programme overview.

Our FARE Futures programme is designed for young people aged 16 -24 who may not yet feel ready for employment. It offers a supportive and structured environment to help participants overcome barriers, build confidence, and take positive steps toward their future.

This course focuses on identifying individual needs and providing tailored support to help each trainee move forward with purpose and self-belief.

    • Personal development – build confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset while setting personal and career goals.

    • Health and wellbeing – learn strategies to support mental and physical wellbeing.

    • Employability workshops including:

      — Career development

      — Identifying skills and qualities

      — Understanding responsibilities in the workplace

    • First aid at work 

    • Health and safety 

    • Manual handling 

    • Personal development award 

    • Financial literacy award – in partnership with MyBank Scotland

    • Hospitality and barista skills 

    • Sport coaching and leadership 

    • Childcare 

    • Retail 

    • Creative industries – sound/music production and tv/film production
