Guardian Telethon Appeal

As part of the 2011 Guardian and Observer Christmas appeal, they will be holding a telethon this Saturday 17th December between 10am and 7pm.  Some of their biggest names and top editors and writers will be answering the phones to chat and take donations for the appeal.  So make sure you get supporting by phoning up on the day.  We will provide a link as soon as the details are uploaded onto their website, watch this space!


 

Guardian Christmas Charity Appeal

The 2011 Guardian and Observer Christmas appeal is in support of disadvantaged teenagers and young adults. We have been selected alonside another eight charities who have a proven track record in helping youngsters develop confidence, resilience and life skills, prepare them for training, education and work, and in some cases divert them from crime.

Christmas Hampers 2011

Over the coming weeks we are again giving away christmas hampers to OAPs in the local area. At total of 660 of them! In 2009 we made a video of the project which you can view by clicking here. Thanks to Good Gifts Catalogue and GHA for supporting this project and in advance to everybody volunteering to help!
